Philip De Courcy Early Life
Philip was born in Belfast (Northern Ireland) to Christian parents who instilled in him a love for Jesus Christ. Philip believed Jesus Christ was his personal Savior at the age of sixteen.
Many of Philip’s childhood friends were involved in terrorist acts. Philip became a part-time police officer in North Belfast’s Royal Ulster Constabulary as a reserve officer. Philip was not injured or even killed by his comrades during the six years. He believes God used this faith-building period to prepare him for pastoral ministry.
Pastoral Training
Philip was a pastor for six years after completing his pastoral training. He is a native of Belfast and led the congregation at Carr Baptist Church in Lisburn for six years. In 1994, Philip moved his family to the United States to study at the Master’s Seminary.
He later served as Senior Pastor in two churches in Southern California. Philip was appointed Senior Pastor at Kindred Community Church in 2007. Philip is also the teacher for the daily broadcast Know The Truth, which can be heard on over 600 radio stations across the United States and various digital platforms.
